You may see different editor options depending on the theme you are using. Generally, you'll have access to the standard Visual Editor, and Visual Composer. We will get into Visual Composer in later training, since this is an advanced editor (but don't let this scare you, it's very powerful and a lot of fun, and you can do lots of fancy stuff with your website very easily). For now, we will focus on the editor marked as #1 below:

Pasting from Word

When you copy and paste text directly from MS Word into a post or page it can add HTML to your post/page that can impact on your text formatting or how your theme displays. While the text you paste might look fine in the Visual Editor, when you click on the HTML tab you’ll see all the extra code added from MS Word.

The Paste from Word button is designed to remove the HTML code from the text:

Click on ‘Show / Hide the kitchen sink’ to view the Advanced formatting toolbar
Click on the ‘Paste fron Word’ button and paste your text from MS Word.
Then click on Insert.

Headings are used to break up posts and pages into manageable bit size chunks, and to make content easier to read.

Headings are very important and should be used in all your pages instead of making fonts larger or bolder to delineate sections, because headings have a huge effect on SEO.
